Thanks so much to everyone for coming and helping to make it such a wonderful celebration. I had the most brilliant time ever :)

Special thanks to my brother Stephen for being the best best man. Also to Kate for coming over from New York to be my best woman and for giving such a beautiful reading and for being such a wonderful friend.

Thanks to Heather, Andy and Rosa for the live music that kicked off the party in such fabulous style. And extra thanks to Heather for singing 'You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To' at the ceremony, it was perfect.

Many, many thanks to my Dad and Roisin who flew in from Turkey via Morocco and have been so supportive. It took great self control not to cry during my Dad's lovely speech and I know he reduced quite a number of the crowd to tears!

And thanks a million to all the rest of my family that came over specially from Ireland - my brother Eamonn and his girlfriend Siobhain, Stephen's wife Emer, cousins David, Ian, Susan and Sarah and my Uncle Tadhg and Auntie Helena.

Thank you so much for coming.

I know that in my speech, I said that there were some wonderful people who helped make this day happen and have supported me on this and through the years. I was so overwhelmed on the night that I couldn't say much.

I would like to thank them properly now. They made it the best day ever.

In no particular order......

Leah - for making the party venue look fabulous. You have been so lovely and everyone was saying how great it looked. We were dead chuffed.

Mercy - for making a wonderful cake. It looked and tasted gorgeous. Needless to say it was a big hit at the party.

Nancy - for always being there. The programmes were beautiful and a perfect way for us to remember the ceremony.

Evie - for being the best bridesmaid, ring bearer and asking the registrar the right questions whilst myself and Aoife were too freaked out and scared to say anything EVER. A very smart seven-year-old lady.

Gerry - for your total support all the way. You've been amazing. And for a beautiful reading - it was perfect.

Claire - for making us look fabulous on the day. People didn't recognise me.

Ceremony

For those of you invited to the ceremony, it will be held at 4pm in the Nelson Hamilton Room at Devonport House in Greenwich. There's a bar in the hotel if you get there a bit early and there'll be time for a little drink after the nuptials.

The Trinny and Susannah dilemma

For occasions like these the subject of "what shall I wear?" always comes up. Do I opt for my all in one lycra number that's been catching moth balls since the 80s? Or should I go for 90s neon acid house style with matching whistle? I'm still working out what make 21st Century fashion means but for those in the know - do I wear the latest trendy garment?

Well.... this blog has the answers! This party is all about having fun, feeling lovely and being gorgeous. This means that you can wear whatever you like. We'd love to see a collage of styles that suit you.

Top tips!

Wear whatever you feel most fabulous in.
Remember if you're staying for the dancing later to think about your feet. Heels are fab but blisters are bad....
There will be in dresses, jeans, ties, hats and there's always an opportunity for you to add something new to that list.

This will be an evening of fun, entertainment and loveliness.

We’ll be hosting the party at Davy’s Wine Vaults, 161 Greenwich High Road SE10 8JA.

The party starts at 6pm.

We’re going to be in the private bit downstairs so when you arrive before you reach the main door, look left and there will be some stairs going down into the basement. It’s a bit like Narnia but without the wardrobe.

When you’ve got to the bottom this is where you’ll find us with a cheeky glass of wine with some lovely live music playing from the lovely Tricity Vogue and guest guitarist Whoflung GarageKey.

Make yourselves at home, there’ll be lots of lovely people some you know and some will be new to you.

To get ourselves warmed up for the evening’s fun at 7.30 we’ll be serving some buffet-like snacks.

8pm is the time for speeches, fizzy stuff and to share the real reason we’re all together.

8.30pm – there’ll be some teas, coffee, cheese and sweet things going around.

9pm – we’ll be handing over the baton to the gorgeous Rachel Mars and Joe Heaney to host the evening with us.

Rachel and Joe are going to host the party event at Davy's Wine Vaults and we've asked them to contact all the guests to suggest a song for the playlist for the evening. They have your emails so expect them to drop you a line. From that there’ll be a fun selection of songs.

Public transport is always a good one to know about on evenings like these. If any of you are driving and can car share do post it up on the blog. Likewise if any of you want to share a taxi get posting on the blog and there may be lovely people that like to share too.

Overland trains go from Greenwich into London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross, the last direct train being - 23.02.

11.00 - 2.00am - DJ hits the decks and we dance till morning.

Welcome

Thank you for being part of this blog. This space is to celebrate us getting married/hitched/legal/wedded - basically we're having a celebration because we love each other and wanted to share that with the people we care about.

Here are the details for what we'd like to do.

We having a party and everyone is invited!

There is a ceremony for all the legal stuff and unfortunately as much as we tried and wanted to we couldn't invite everyone to that part of the day - something to do with fire regulations. However, the party will have it's own ceremonial identity and you won't be disappointed.

We have hopefully contacted everyone individually to invite them to the party and/or ceremony.
